Chasing The Summer: Interview with Room 94.

Ahead of their show at The Haunt in Brighton as part of their ‘Three brothers and one Kit’ summer tour, I had a chat with Kieran, Sean and Kit from pop-rock band Room 94.

Attempting to escape the insane heat, and noise from inside, the lads talk shows, feeding fans pizza through their dressing-room window, celeb TTP’s (total packages) and an upcoming jewellery line with Tresor Paris.

When speaking of their, hard-core fans, the majority of which are female, the playful side of the lads shines through. “Our fans are generally the best-looking fans,” Sean remarks cheekily, “it makes us look cool if you’re standing out somewhere and there’s like hundreds of fit girls.”

On the subject of girls, the guys also talk fancying Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus – now she’s not so innocent of course – “basically, we like all girls.” Says Kieran. Form an orderly queue ladies.

So, what  do Room 94 get up to on tour, aside from playing? “We’re always partying,” replies Kieran, “on this tour because we party too much, we actually bought loads of exercise equipment so when we party we can at least try and stay healthy.”

Sean goes on, “go on the bike while having a drink…it’s gets around your system quicker, because you’re pedalling. Work out DVD room 94 style.”

Speaking of DVDs, Room 94 are currently working on ‘Room 94 The Movie’, a DVD release that they hope will be available by the end of the year. The boys are quick to assure that it’s not just going to be the average band-goes-on-tour-and-films-it DVD, as Kit explains, “it’s more into our personal life, so you can see what it’s like.” Sean expands, “you’ll get to know us…” So there’s something to put on your Christmas lists ladies.

When asked what we can expect from the rest of the ‘Three brothers and 1 Kit’ tour, Kieran responds, “some great shows.” He also says that these are the best shows the boys have ever played, having put a lot of money time and effort into making it the best tour.

“There’s going to be a lot of sweat.” Sean concludes. So if you’ve got tickets to see these guys on tour, it sounds like it’s going to be one big, albeit sweaty, party. And if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? go and chase the summer with these cheeky chaps, it’s definitely worth it.

    • It was! I had a feeling it would be. I’ve been trying to interview them for nearly a year so I’m so happy that I finally got to do it! They’re such lovely and funny lads, I really enjoyed it. I’d love to go on tour with them, can only imagine what a laugh it’d be! Thanks for watching 🙂
