So it looks like The Cab are finally getting some, muchly anticipated, UK recognition. If you’re a UK fan then you definitely know that sadly, the band is not as well known here as in the US, and they’ve never played a show over here. So unless you have the means to fly to the states, this has been a very long time coming.
After their performance on, or in, the London Eye for competition winners last week, they were featured in UK tabloid ‘The Sun’. (see below:)
And as said above a longer article was posted on The Sun online, which also features videos of the guys performing their new single ‘Bad’ and covering Ed Sheeran’s ‘Lego House’. There are also some quotes from both Alex’s. You can check that out here: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/music/4534696/The-Cab-perform-gig-on-London-Eye.html
So it all seems to be coming together; just a day after the London Eye performance singer, Alex DeLeon tweeted a picture of the band’s “poster in London”. And as well as that, leading single ‘Bad’ from their album Symphony Soldier which is set for UK release next monday, is also getting national airplay on stations like Capital radio, so…get requesting.
For all of the fans that have been waiting a fair few years to hear news of The Cab spread to the UK, it looks like we may have finally got our wish. Let’s hope that this is the start of something big.
